Lenco is the acknowledge leader in bullet proof transmissions that can handle 2000-4000 horsepower (1500 – 3000 kW), and up to 2800 lbf-ft (3800 N-m) of input torque at input speeds surpassing 10,000 rpm. IEdrives electric vehicle OEM customers will find this designed in “excess” capability to be a real plus when their customers look for vehicle service life of 300,000 and 500,000 miles. An IEdrives transmission will be there for the long haul.

IEdrives’ EV3 series of heavy duty transmission is specifically designed for use with electric motors that power medium and heavy duty trucks and buses. This transmission family is fully controllable with a 12 or 24 VDC shift signal, allowing for smooth upshift or downshifts. The EV3 series utilizes planetary gear sets to provide the highest efficiency and extreme service durability required by commercial trucks and buses. |

IEdrives offers a fixed reduction gear box, (non shiftable), that can either stand alone or be integrated into an IEdrives transmission. A fixed reduction module is an effective means to reduce the typically much too high rear differential gearing found in piston engine designed vehicles. When a fixed reduction is combined with a shiftable transmission section, it becomes an effective means to get great acceleration, impressive hill climbing ability and still being able to travel at highway speeds. |
